Good Monday Sparkfam!!! Its a brisk day here in Chicago but the sun is shining like its 60 degrees outside. I am patient being a spring baby knowing that we often jump straight from wintry weather 37-49 degrees straight to 61-75 degrees. We used to have indian spring but now it is what is. So everyday should be a day that we consider our health & I was wondering what are you doing today to keep yourself healthy? Today, I started to bring a half sandwich or should I say an open face sandwich but instead I brought the half eaten wendys chili & a 6oz yogurt. I saved myself on sodium & fat by just switching out the sandwich. I had a pancake for breakfast & sausage so I did eat like a king for breakfast. More like a queen for lunch but tonight I will be dining on rainbow trout, broccoli & a baked chicken wing. Although I am planning what to eat right now, its often subject to change.
Also while I am at it let me just say:
Even though I sat straight up this morning with my bible & Joyce Meyer I was prepared to give myself 30-45mins of fitness. I used to do 60-120minutes of fitness but with spring coming so early I am doing 45-60mins in the morning & if I have time in the evening doing another 30-60mins. I deserve it & I am seeing some toning. Not like overnight but gradual changes. I have many events coming up this year but I want to do this for myself my health & this will trickle down to my son. I have been idle too long but now its time to put into action all that I have learned & prove to myself that I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me!
