Yes, I said cheese. Keep your butter and pasta and chocolate. The thought of melted cheddar will reduce me to a salivating mess. So my first thoughts this morning, when the sunlight peeked through the curtains, was a fabulous omelet with cheese. Today is honey’s birthday so we went to our favorite breakfast spot. It was the first time in weeks that I have not had a meal replacement shake in the morning. It was also the first time I have had fruit. Oh how I have missed the natural sweetness of strawberries and bananas. I did not go completely off the deep end though. This place has the BEST hash browns – which I did not order. I also passed on the bread.I really thought the influx of rich food would either send me to the bathroom or back to bed to digest. Thankfully neither happened. Instead I had plenty of energy to tick a bunch of chores and annoying tasks off my list.
What I did not do was work out.
I am sure I could have found time to exercise, but...
