My big sis called today to check in...perfect timing. It was good to have a long distance shoulder to cry on.
Had some real positive feedback from this weekend in the way of an e-mail and a phone call thanking us for our performance at events, and when I posted a photo of a sculpture on my facebook page one of my balloon heroes commented "nice job". Made my day!
Struggling with patience...I want it all at once. Clean house, decorated house, new job for the hubby, new job for me, money in the bank...kids that are well. Not gonna happen, not all at once. Rome wasn't built in a day. I have totally let my health and well being fall by the way side. I have still not caught the respiratory infection that my 3 kids have had which is a really good thing. My littlest went to school today, but came home after lunch. I was pushing him to go back too soon, silly really.
Yes Becky, I did buy the cookies...and I ate two. And I'm done. Tomorrow morning I hit the pool after I drop the kids at school. Tonight I am going to work on paperwork. I am going to make a list for everyone of things they need to do around the house by Friday. I am going to let others share in the work load so I don't crash and burn. I am glad I spent today deep cleaning the kitchen, tomorrow it is time to clean the fridge. And when I shop next I will have a list of healthy meals to shop for!
I still haven't finished the taxes...and now it is crucial that they are done. I need to allow time for the accountant to finish them up and submit them so we can get our refund!
I know that God has a plan for our lives, and that He is big enough to handle this. Sometimes I wish I knew exactly what that plan was...and where it will take us! I need to get back to the pool...back to eating healthy foods consistently, and back to having some fun with my family and friends. I think an Easter 5 K run is just what the doctor ordered....so the day before Easter Sunday I will invite family and friends to come for a fun run. Free, fun, what could be better?
Have a great one!
