I first want to thank everyone who replied to my Marathon Post, it really meant a lot to read them all.
How quickly I have recovered from my Marathon experience. It has only been 3 days, and I'm feeling amazing. I can get up for sitting and I'm running up and down the stairs, Just 2 days ago I was holding onto the rail going up and down the stairs and getting up from a seated position was really painful
I've made sure to ice the back of my legs (from top to bottom) at least twice a day for minimum 30 minutes. The pass two nights I had my husband use the rolling pin on the back side of my legs and butt, and morning and night I rubbed Blue Gel Pain Reliever on the back side of my legs and knees. It is amazing by doing all these things I'm feeling really good.
I plan on resting the rest of the week and getting back to running on Monday. I'm going to stay around 5 miles and then add to it. every few days.
