Wow, I have really fallen off the wagon!

Saturday, February 03, 2007

Well, going on almost three months smoke free, but I managed to pack on almost 15 more lbs. I did buy new scales and haven't compared them to the old ones, so maybe I haven't gained quite that much. So, bottom line is that it is time to quit whining about quitting smoking and get back on the healthy eating bandwagon. I have filled my freezer with Lean Cuisine, got some Pilates books at the library, got a digital scale and a pedometer. Time to get serious!!

Congratulations on the three months smoke free! I have a friend who's about three months "dry" but isn't willing to try for smoke free for a little while.

Sorry about the weight gain...but you're right: the bottom line is to make better choices. You said you picked up some Pilates books...did you think about a DVD or a video? I find them a little easier than trying to hold open a book with one hand and exercising with the other!

Stick with it, and you'll make it!
