snap, crackle, pop

Since I've started working out every day, my body is doing all sorts of weird things. I get a lot of snapping and crackling when I stretch. It's not painful, but it's interesting to hear. I'm not sure how i feel about it though, so I have an appointment with a doctor next week to figure out if I've done some damage somehow.

Maybe it's just the whole being sedentary for so long that was the damage, and now that I'm out and up and about, it's just the wrong going and righting itself.

I feel awesome though, so there you go.

    I have noticed a little of that myself. one thing is my knee and the doc said as long as it isnt hurting dont worry about it...I am seriously waiting for the day it hurts though, sorta like waiting for the other shoe to drop and put a crimp in my weight loss plan :) Good luck at the doctor's!

    I love you dearly and hope all is well......and while I have joint issues of my own I must admit when I saw the title of this blog I was starving and all I could think of was cereal and funky little elves!! :) Am glad you are feeling good and that you are getting things checked out!!!

    I get lots of pops from some of my joints. When I had a particularly loud series of pops in my elbows, my trainer at the gym said it was just the joint fluid. Apparently when you stretch the joint capsule, bubbles of gas form in the joint fluid, and they pop when they are rapidly released.

Sounds weird to me. Bubbles in my elbows?!
