Have not tracked food in over a week. Have not exercised in weeks. Grandkids are a handful and don't seem to fit well into my healthy life style. Will have to work on it more. Have been practicing portion control and taking kids to park often. My blood sugars are staying steady. Should head out tomorrow for Colorado. Don't know if the weather will hold. They are forecasting Snow. May have to go around through New Mexico. This will add an extra day of traveling. Looking forward to seeing DH. I have been away too long. Miss DH much. Will spend the next 2 weeks packing house for permanent move back to Arizona. Starting new job on April 10th. Unfortunately DH has a contract to fulfill and wont be able to follow me out until June. Not really looking forward to separating again. Longest time we have been apart in 20 yrs. Just want to get my life back on track. It has been too hectic for too long.

Wow that sounds like a lot to juggle!...It's kind of like that one day at a time way of handling things...not looking at EVERYthing all at once that may seem overwhelming, but just focusing on the task at hand

That's a lot to cope with, you definitely have to be patient with yourself. Hopefully things will work out for the best, as you try to get your eating and exercising to the place they should be. All the best to you. emoticon

Your life sounds like it is in definite turmoil which of course leads to stress, which in turn usually leads to poor eating choices, which leads to poor health, which leads to poor motivation, which leads to poor attitude, which leads to giving up. But I see a silver lining! You AREN'T GIVING UP!! Keep trying to make the small things work and when all the pieces of your life start to fall back into place, low and behold, you will be right where you want to be! Healthier and happier.
I pray for protection for you in your travels and a fast reunion with your DH. God Bless!
