This Is All that Needs to be Said...

"When I stand before God
at the end of my life,

I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left,

and could say,

"I used everything you gave me."

I loved Erma Bombeck's writings. This is another wise word from
a woman who didn't get all the credit she deserved. I guess
I'd better get to work on using my talents, not wasting them.
I'm sure there are some somewhere!

Thanks. We all have unused talents, if we just stop to think about it.

Yeah, I've been to that tree digging up buried talent.

The thing is this: What God has given me speaks for itself. When I am willing to use it, it will be a guaranteed blessing. No one is surprised but myself!!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing this reminder to be a giver.

This goes with what I read in Matthew yesterday! The story about the man giving three servants bags of gold, two of them doubled the amount and the other buried his gold so he wouldn't lose the money..We have to use what gifts God gives us so we can expand those gifts and make them more useful, but if we don't, they will be taken away! In other words, "If you don't use it, you lose it!"

Love this quote! Thanks for sharing. :)
