A good week!

I had my weigh in at WW at 103rd and State Line yesterday(March 20th). I had a loss of 5.4lbs. since last week!
I have to say that tracking my food, and a lot of extra activity is what did it. Plus, I have been on a plateau since Thanksgiving, gaining and losing the same pound or two over and over. Last week, I posted the first significant weight loss since the holidays (minus 1.8lbs), and quite a bit more yesterday.
I had a person move out of one of my rental properties last week, and I have been working in the house on my days off 12-13 hours a day painting, repairing, cleaning, scrubbing floors, etc. Also I have been going over to work on the house after I get off work at the hospital. I recorded most of my favorite tv shows, so I can watch them today. I must have burnt a lot more calories than I do when I walk a couple of miles at a time, doing all that work, which explains my big loss.
I just hope that I can maintain the loss, and lose some more this week. Usually, if I post a big loss, I gain part of it back the following week. I hope I donít do that this time.
So far, down 54.6lbs. since last May. Between 50-70 more to go, depending on what I look like at that point.

  Bob.. Congrats on your weight loss. If you get finished cleaning and scrubbing and want to do more please come to my house in Texas.. It needs it badly...
I think I am reaching a plateau finally and I am not happy about it... I started this journey in July or August of last year and have lost 76lbs. However the past two weeks have been sort of weird. Didn't lose or gain but this week i gained a pound. Very discouraging but I am still plugging away at trying to lose the last 40lbs... Sounds to me like you are very busy and all the extra work around the rental will give you some more calories burned. Good Luck and have a great weekend..Peggy emoticon

    Congratulations on your weight loss. All of the cleaning and scrubbing you're doing on the house is helping too.
