I had quite a revelation. I took the "How Positive Is Your Body Image" quiz yesterday. The revelation came at question 8:
Most of the time, I eat when Iím _______.
__ Bored, depressed, lonely, stressed and/or worried
Any, and every, other time I thought about this question, I would've answered "Bored, depressed, lonely, stressed and/or worried."
Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I answered "Hungry." I now eat when I'm hungry and not for other reasons. My habits and behaviors have changed so drastically that I no longer run to food to cure loneliness, boredom or stress. I've developed friendships with women at work and with other SparkPeople members. You all are the "wind beneath my wings" when I'm blue and lonely.
