Week 1 - The Newbie's (um) Beginning

Hello my fellow Sparkies! Here is my intro video to Spark People. There are some ums involved, but only because I do not like talking about my body or problems with my weight. I'm hoping my weekly video blogs will motivate me to work harder and post nothing but great results! (Perhaps I'll even get over my fear of my scale?)

    First you did an awesome vlog and you're a beautiful young girl! Though she's a little older than you (she's 23) my daughter and I are doing SP together. I'm not sure how many "young" people are on SP, but if you're looking for a friend more your age, I know she'd be happy to help (she needs encouragement herself!!) She's on my page as Eireowen.

    You are a brave girl for doing this. You are also beautiful! THis is the first time I've been able to stick to 1550 calories a day or less by recording all my food that I eat every day on SP. I too love too eat and my worst habit was eating in the evening the entire time while watching tv. I was afraid I wouldn't last a week on here and now I am at 3 1/2 weeks on SP and have lost 10lbs as of today. I also hated scales, but I learned now that I am only going to weigh myself once a week, and have set a goal that I feel in reasonable for me and my body. We are all built different.
    Stay positive and I wish you the best. You can do this!
