3 Yr Old = Exercise

So, we took the kids to The Indianapolis Children's Museum today. In case you're not familiar with it, it is the largest Children's Museum in the World. Five stories of exhibits, the place is HUGE.
Well, from the moment we got there, my 3 yr old literally took off running and he honestly didn't stop for the entire 7 hours we were there. Yes, we stayed the whole time they were open. We went through every single nook and cranny of that place. My kid didn't even stop long enough to eat lunch. And we had two pretty severe meltdowns where I had to hold that kid down with all the strength in me while he had a royal tantrum in my arms. During these times, the sweat was literally pouring off of me. I felt pretty gross today, let's just leave it at that.
So, I thought, "Hmmm. I wonder how many calories I burned?" Judging from the way my feet feel right now, I'd say it has to be a lot. I went to the cardio section and I thought "playing with kids" sounds about right (lol!) and I put in 5 hours instead of 7 (just to make up for the rare times I did get to sit down today). Do you know it says I burned 3100 calories??? HA!
So, there's a secret of success for ya. Take a 3 yr old boy to the world's largest Children's Museum and have one of the most frustrating days of your life. BEST. WORKOUT. EVER.
