Today is a better day...

I went to the gym to use the treadmill today and walked 2 miles! I've been doing pretty a lot for lunch, but no cookies or junk food...sorta lol..I had some of my soft peppermint candies...I always eat too many of them LOL...and I keep buying them when I tell myself not to! LOL

After school I told my daughter that we were going to go for a walk around the block. At first she was against it, but I told her there was no discussion. So, she came around and enjoyed it more than I expected she would. We walked the majority of it, but we did jog for a min here and there. And this is the first time when we walked that she wasn't far behind me..LOL..she was acutally ahead of me! After we got home she informed me that she is going to do this everyday with or without me...I told her I will be there!

She has dance once a week, but I told her that she needs to have more exercise / activity in her life. She always fights me on this, but hearing her talk like this was wonderful! Maybe she will stick with it! I hope:-)
