Hi..after I was done blogging last night I went out for the 11 pm check and 2 cows had twins!! Off to get hubby to help put them in the barn...cold again last night and today with a definitely un-spring -like wind and a bit of snow flurries!! So we had 5 calves yesterday and 2 today so far...helped with chores..tagged calves..both sets of twins are doing fine :) Gotta remember my camera on one of these many trips to the barn/corral!!

I'm in to make a quick lunch..I'm having green soup and making quick chili for hubby..thanks goodness I have pre-browned burger packages frozen for just such a quick meal...

Then I guess I'm off to Weyburn to get supplies...also need to make sandwiches for a funeral in town tomorrow...

By the way..Happy St Patrick's Day...we're having roast beef and boiled cabbage, potatoes and carrots for supper and my plans are a key lime pie if I get that far?

Probably shouldn't have had the beer last night..when hubby was helping put the cows in I fell in the corral..in a big water run and the cows went one on each side of me!! At least they didn't step on me or kick me, it was pretty scary and now I'm quite sore!! The hazards of being a klutz around cows!! When I was bottle feeding the baby yesterday I cow tried to get me while I was in her stall..Hubby was in the barn..I screamed and screamed and she left me alone,,but hubby said now the cow is deaf..Besides the poor calf being blind!!
