I just love watching the two of you on your videos, you always put me in a happy mood!! I can relate on support system of family or lack their of. My husband is very supportive and helps with cooking healthy meals, but family consisting of my parents & brothers/sister-in-laws, really not saying anything. I think they think, oh she's on another diet, let see how long this one lasts before she gains the weight back, so they just don't say anything. My co-workers are more supportive and trying to lead a healthier lifestyle too. You are both doing great, just keep going. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hey ladies! I definately know what you mean about people in your lives who aren't that supportive. Surprisingly, it's the one's who should be. I once read that if you tell people that you're allergic to foods that you know are unhealthy for you, that response will stop them in their tracks from asking again.

Of course, if it's family, they know what you're allergic to. For the family members who don't seem the most supportive, I would suggest telling them that you just ate before and you are so full. This helps me with my Mom because she loves to offer me unhealthy choices. I'll say "I'm full" and she'll usually stop offering.

A huge reason, also read this somewhere, that people aren't supportive of your healthy lifestyle change is because it calls attention to their own eating habits and choices. Now that you're taking action towards bettering your life, they are pretty much forced to take a look at what they're doing. And if their lifestyle is un-healthy, that makes them uncomfortable to face the facts.

Just think of these issues as theirs and not yours. When others aren't supportive of you, it's always an issue about them and never about you. So keep going ladies, you are doing great!
