Over On Calories...Darn It!

Well, went over on calories today...but just by 24 calories. So..who knows...maybe when I get home I'll do even just a little bit of cardio to try and work that off. Or...not. LOL. I still do plan on doing my 50 crunches, 50 push-ups and 50 squats. I know SP doesn't actually report the calories burned doing strength exercises, but I'm thinking it's gotta be at least 24 calories.

Come to think of it, why DOESN'T SP count strength training as calories burned? I don't get that!

    Ummm...perhaps that's the "loss" burn?

    Yeah, I don't get that either. Of course you burn calories when you strength train...not as much as when you do cardio, but your heart rate usually elevates somewhat during strength training. At least, mine does! Especially when I do pushups!! I've started wearing a HRM whenever I work out, and I enter the calories it says I burned into SP.

BTW...only 24 calories over?!!? I don't think you need to worry much about that! That's a "win' in my book!
