I should be in a different place

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

I just realized that my 3 year Spark Anniversary is around the corner. WOW! Has it been that long already? Where does the time go?

I guess my first reaction, the most obvious is, why am I not at goal?
Geez. The million dollar question. Okay so immediately the excuses pile in....never a shortage of those...
There was that injury, okay that was a year ago
The Holidays...those were months ago
The puppy, again that's been over a month now

What's the expression my father always told me, "Excuses are like ***holes, everyone's got one". Rather vulgar I know but effective. Anyhow though I long to be elsewhere I am still happy and still working towards my goal. Three years later and I'm still working toward being a healthier me. That's progress, just maybe not in a size 6! emoticon

It's never too late, as long as you're here trying, even if you have a non-productive period, keep coming back and reading what motivates you. You're setting a great example for your kids, and you're worth it!

I just passed my 3 yr anniversary here at Spark in Jan...and I'm still 20 lbs from my goal. Lots of starts & stops, ups & downs along the way. But....we are still here, and that's an awesome thing. Think of how many people sign up..then throw in the towel & completely dissapear.
Let's make this year the year we get to our goals- We can do this- No more excuses!

I hope you have a fantastic week!!

Hey - you are still here and working on being healthy. THAT is fantastic, and that is what matters. Life gets in there and complicates things though, doesn't it? LOL

    Hey there Girlfriend!

It seems that we are in the same boat. We've taken off a good bit of weight, but still have a ways to go. I have decided that I need to be proud of what I have done, so far, and to realize that I have maintained for the last 3 years, and that Really is an accomplishment in itself.

So now, that we have learned how to maintain, we can finally take that last 12-15 pounds off for good!

Let's do it!

Luv ya!

ROFLMAO!!!! My co-worker said that same thing last week - she got me laughing & crying at the same time for an hour! she also adds "You can't live without one!" at the end of it! LoL

You have come a long way in my eyes....and my goodness, you are beautiful inside & out! Part of being here on Spark is being aware of health in general and if you are better than you were in that department along each of those increments mentioned, then you, my friend are going AOK in my book!

Never give up the good fight...and better health IS the good fight!

I understand. My daughter is 20 months... and I'm still struggling to lose. Time to just do it.
