Night Walker

Wednesday, March 16, 2011

I had a busy day of work, that's going to continue into the early morning tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to walk all day, and it was eating at me. At 10pm I couldn't take it anymore. I had to get out there. 81 minutes of walking with an average speed of 3.9 miles/hour. I had a fire under me! It felt so good. Now it's back to work. Gotta appease the clients and their various deadlines. Just glad I took a little time for me.

If I could find a safe place to walk I'd totally do that. There's nothing like fresh night air. Last night I drove home through some back roads with the windows down, singing along to loud music. It was refreshing, but I had trouble sleeping and my body just didn't feel right since I lacked any cardio that day. I don't feel right without it, as it sounds like you were getting restless also!

Walking for that long so swiftly shows how much your body has really adapted to that activity. Wow!

Back when I was a teenage smoker, I really treasured my wandering around time after dark whether it was with warm summer breezes or crisp wintery nights. I'm a stargazer at heart!

Anyhow, GOOD FOR YOU! :)

You know, the times I have walked at night was awesome because for some reason you go deeper into thought. I guess its the lack of distractions. You are awesome!
