3/15/2011 - I don't know how I feel about today

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

So, It was a busy day.
Class, which went well.
Rushing to the leasing office of an apartment my roommate and I want to look at, only to find out it was closed.
Rushing into work to grab my paycheck, which was $120 less than I thought.
Stopping by my parent's house to check in on my siblings.
Rushing to the doctor to get some tests done and get a few vaccinations updated.
Rushing back to school, where I had 2 granola bars and some baked lays for breakfast/lunch.
Meeting with my writing professor, who cleared up my questions but raised some more as well.
Going back to my parent's house to hang out with my folks for a bit.
Going home to work out and do homework, which turned into working out and then watching the West Wing for 3 hours.

It's been interesting, but the day has left me tired, without any food in my stomach, and with significantly less work done on my brief than I would like.

Answer: keep a box of Cliff Bars at work... I have a fridge in my office and buy Annies' Burritos to put in the microwave... I like her fruit snacks too... I have protien drinks that I make with vanilla almond milk in the morning and those are YUMMY! Also, a cache of your favorite nuts or trail mix will keep in a desk drawer. If you eat (snack really) on healthier stuff during the day, you'll eat less at night.
Your day sounds a lot like my "work" days... I teach writing at a community college... only 3-4 days a week, but those can be long ones!
