Another run

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

So I was unable to do my run on Sunday...:( Was very sad about that, but I did get in one today! WOOHOO!! Man, did that ever feel good getting onto the track and just running...feeling that stretch in those muscles and getting into that familiar rhythm again.

I wish I'd done a little better on the time, 2 miles in 30 min's...it should be 3 miles in 30 min's, but I had a freakin' asthma attack out on the track. This has been happening a little too often for my liking...sounds like a trip to the doc is in order.

One thing I'm worried about is that my doc will say I won't be able to do the marathon...I guess I'll just have to tell her that she's gotta come up with some other treatment 'cos I'm running it anyway...whether she likes it or not...all that training is not going to be flushed down the toilet because of this...noooo wayyyyy. There's my stubborn streak coming out again...lol!!

Anyway, fingers crossed everything will be fine and my time will speed up because as it stands, it would take me about 6 1/2 hrs to finish the marathon...yikes!! My time has really gone down. I know I can shave off at least 1 1/2 hrs from that, but I was hoping for 4 hrs or under. Well with the right training, I know I'll be able to say, "I came, I saw, I conquered". lol Wish me luck!! Good luck to all of you training for the marathon!!
