I just wanna say it's a good dang thing I'm exercising. If not I would have gained tons of weight I'm sure...

I exercise a lot. At least burning 500+ cals a day which mean that I HAVE to be taking in 2500 calories a day. At least most days anyway... Geeeezzzz. I need to stop eating... I just want to eat all the time. Even healthy stuff... I just crave food. Eating extra protein, fiber or things like that that people say supposed to make you feel full and all that but it doesn't stop you from WANTING to eat whether you're full or not. The only thing I've found that makes me not want to eat is drinking lots of coffee or energy drinks or taking weight loss supplements like Ripped fuel or Xenadrine. Basically anything with lots of caffeine. But caffeine from a diet coke doesn't get it. I'm not even sure if it's just the caffeine because I can drink 2 diet cokes which should be about equivalent to one cup of coffee and I don't get NEAR the same effect from the coke.
I take extra B vits cause that supposed to help with energy but it still doesn't help me not want food. It seriously gets to the point that I want to cry if I keep myself from eating. It's basically the same thing that happened after I quit smoking. Although unfortunately I still battle the urge to smoke even after a year and a half. :-(

I appreciate any suggestions but I feel I'm just going to have to cry it out and just do it. I've really tried everything I know of to do to help with this. I do feel for people who are like this but don't workout or don't want to workout like I do because I KNOW that it would be even HARDER to lose weight if I didn't workout like I do...

Sometimes if you are dehydrated you can feel hungry. Try drinking a cold glass of water before and after each meal. Soup is another good way to fill up. Of course, there is always lettuce, carrots, tomatoes and cabbage. Also, it is a good idea to take a multivitamin. Maybe do something nice for yourself to help you relax. Splurge on a massage or get a pedicure.

I'm not sure where you are at in your weight loss journey but I know my first few weeks were the hardest. After that, my better habits became part of my life and I am down 92 lbs. It is not even hard for me right now because I have developed the discipline. My desire to be slimmer and healthier "outweighs" my desire to eat what I shouldn't. I've been where you are and felt how you feel. It will get better.
Hang in there.

I agree with ZENBABY16 - I chew a lot of gum and it does help. I also drink water when I'm hungry before I give in to stuffing my face. That doesn't always work, but it does cut down on the amount that I eat. Can you use some of your LA Weight Loss tricks/tools to help? You are a strong woman Mitzi - you've done it before. You can do this! I have faith in you emoticon

Hey! lol I am glad you see where I am coming from! I honestly wish I had the problem of not eating when I'm stressed. You sound like you're reading my life story. I exercise, but I have a huge appetite, like a guy pretty much. But unfortunately I don't get to hear people write it off as 'Oh, she's just a girl, girls are just like that' Haha! I'm the same way with coffee. It is what gets me through the morning, not for making me more awake, but for suppressing my appetite. If I figure out any tricks, you'll be the first to know :)

I will add you as a friend! Hope to hear from you soon.

Hey, just wanted to write and let you know that sometimes I go through days like that where I just have this craving to keep eating no matter what I just want to eat! I have found one thing though that usually helps, and as insignificant as it may sound, but I try to chew gum when I get in those moods. Sometimes I have to chew a couple of pieces at a time, but it gets my mouth going to simulate eating and gives me some flavor without the calories. Most sticks of gum have under 5 calories per piece. I would give it a try next time, it really is a life saver for me on some days! The only days that I really have problems is when I am stuck at work and don't have any gum left or I am busy and can't go to the store to get more.

Good luck, you can do it!
