So, after gaining 20 lbs back I've been maintaining for over 6 months. I joined weight watchers a couple months ago but due to some recent troubles I can't afford the $40 a month anymore. Thank God Sparkpeople is always there to catch me! So here I am. My life has changed a lot in the past 6 months. I moved to Oregon and right now I am working overnights. This has caused me to struggle a lot with my eating. I tend to eat a lot at work to keep myself awake and snack a lot when I get home. I also haven't had defined meal times so I tend to eat more. Also, I don't want to work out after work because then it is hard to fall asleep. I am trying to get into the habit of waking up at 6 or 7pm and going to the gym first thing, but it is hard when it is dark and cold and rainy outside.
Alright - so there is my pity-party for you. Now to get back on track. My goals are to get into a healthier eating pattern and set up some motivation to get me back into the gym. I think I'm going to print out some copies if the picture from my lowest weight. I'm really eager to get that 20 lbs back off. I'm planning to put that picture in my bathroom to motivate me when I wake up and possibly in the car to keep me away from the drive thrus that are oh-so-tempting when I am driving to work at 11pm.
