Newbie question?????

Wednesday, March 09, 2011

ok, so I got a little over my head with "joining" some Spark Teams and I think I need to limit them to a few so I can at least stay in contact and focused on what challenges I am working on. Soooooo, my question is how do I "delete" or leave a team if you have joined one???? Nicki (6shrums) emoticon

So many newbies do the same thing. I see you got the answer to your quetion. My advice - limiting teams to your area of focus will work best. Be active, make connections, support othrs and your'll reap the same when you need friends -- so many folks will be right there by your side. That really is the magic of spark!

Thanks for the information, makes me not feel sooooooo bad. Good luck today everyone.

Me too - joined a bunch at the beginning just because I had an attribute that matched, and then realized I didn't really care about being in the group. Meanwhile I re-evaluate my teams every couple weeks as my needs change, etc.

This must be a newbie issue for many.... it was for me too. I have shifted my "team" membership around often as I find groups I need and groups I no longer mesh with.

It sure is easy to find a bunch of interesting groups, isn't it? Just not so easy to keep track of them all. *faints*

If you go to the SparkTeam page and scroll all the way to the bottom, there is a button to leave the team. I did the same thing when I started! Happy Sparking!
