Good morning; today is my day of renewal. With this decision, I am at peace. I have been too anxious since my routine has been interrupted by the recuperative process of my son. I am making a real effort to get back a routine. I plan to put me first. yesterday, I had a plan but it was interrupted by an outside force. I do not mind being flexible, but I was too flexible and I ran out of time to get all my exercise in during the day. I got side tracked by working on our taxes and gathering all the paperwork. My theory about exercise is that you need to do what works for you. It does not matter how much some one else does, it only matters what works for you.
I will get my exercise in which works for me. I am consistent when I make a plan and put myself first. Today I will make this commitment to myself.

I agree with all the comments, you gotta do what feels good, I know sometimes I make myself crazy trying to accomplish what I set up for myself, and then it is not fun and good, but usually I do so enjoy my walks and they make me feel like a new person. so it is important to me to get out there and move. We are having a beautiful clear day, but too hot to walk outside yet, soo I will have to wait until at least 4 and hope it cools off some, 86 when I got home from the gym at 1:00 and I am not a summer person. 1907 days ago
I so agree with you about doing what works for yourself. We all know people who walk 3, 4, 5+ miles a day. That's great, but I don't do that, don't anticipate doing that and don't feel bad it's not on my agenda. Since losing weight is about caring for ourselves, having other people's influence guilting us into doing something that's not right for us isn't the way to go.
