Hi Sparkies! Hope everyone is having a great week! We are staring our week here at home My daughter joined Sparkteens last week, and both of us have been tracking, and eating more veggies & fruits. My dughter has really enjoyed eating veggies ever since I started making stir-fry's. I try to use less oil if possible & lots of veggies. My daughter lost 6 pounds the first week, and I lost 1 pound. Way to go!!!! Sounds like veggies and fruits are common ground for you both! I am making a big effort this week to cook/prepare all of our food for health reasons for the whole family. And I am serving a salad/fresh fruit/raw veggies before the meal as sort of a snack! That way, we are all really hungry and are more likely to eat the veggies and fruits!!!! (before meat and bread!) Great blog. I think it is so great when a teenager joins Spark. Your daughter did awesome her first week. I also believe that you will motivate each other to continue great success.
