Food Journal--Day 1

Breakfast was a hurried affair, I just grabbed a couple of slices of toast, but put cinnamon on them to help just a little. Cinnamon is good for the blood sugar.

Lunch was not so great, pizza, but I didn't eat the whole thing like I always use to do. I had 3 smaller pieces of a 12" pizza, just cheese.

Could be worse, but I will be at work for supper. I think I will go with a nice salad.

OK, the salad was pretty good. I had a few strips of carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, and just a few cashews. I even kept it down to a tablespoon of fat free ranch dressing. I did have a half piece of flat bread with it.
I will admit I'm a little hungry right now, but I think I can ignore it. I feel pretty good about myself right now.

I am a little beat to do my five mins. on the stepper tonight. I'm going to see if I feel a little more energetic after I relax for a bit. I did a lot of running around at work tonight. I'm pooped.

    I think your salad sounds great all it needs is some protein so you have more staying power...a little egg maybe? or chickpeas? Keep climbing mount steperest!!

    Sounds like a good day. A salad will give you the fruits and vegetables you need for the day, if you chose wisely.
