Day 2, No Coffee

Waking up just as fast with no coffee but I sure miss the taste....of the quarter cup of creamer I put in each cup. I'm now looking for the small things that I eat/drink that are probably adding up....coffee was one of them. I believe that that last time I didn't have coffee for a while, I was more energetic in the morning but I don't remember. It was a budget thing sometime last year.
Really achy today. Waiting for pain med to kick in.
Think this might be a good cooking day. Tried a fabulous new recipe Saturday for Shrimp Enchiladas Verde and want to make it again.

Only 320 calories. It made 8 good sized servings in a 9 by 12 pan.
They also have a chili releno recipe that looks interesting I want to try.
Anyway, having a cooking day once or twice a week gives my love of cooking an outlet. I have such a nice selection to choose from and something to grab in the morning to take to work. Only one day off this week so I need to really plan everything.
Lunch with my sister today. Think we will do a power mall walk and maybe hit Applebee's for one of their under 500 calorie meals. They were fabulous the last time I was there.
I better get moving....

  I quit coffee a number of years ago and then parenthood "demanded" that I add it back to my life. I remember the headaches . . . all too well. Hang in there, you'll get past them.

    I quit coffee as well. It's hard at first but you will get over it. It took a good month of headaches but now I have much more energy. Caffeine effects me much more now as well. If the cafe screws up and puts caff in my decaf cup, Im wired for days. LOL!!
