No more excuses. It’s about time I got back to where I need to be in my own life. You wake up one morning and you don’t know who you are anymore. You don’t understand your face, body, or even your shape. You don’t see yourself as welcome, wanted, or even loved as you once was. So it’s time to be fully who you are. I love myself. Better yet... This statement here says it all.
The statement, "love your neighbor as yourself" is not a command to love yourself. It is natural and normal to love yourself. The fact that the vast majority of people in the world care for their own needs is testament to the fact that love for self is not lacking. The statement, "love your neighbor as yourself" is essentially saying treat other people as well as you treat yourself. The idea of loving yourself as a command of Scripture is not accurate. The Bible presumes that people already love themselves too much—that is our problem. We are to take our eyes off ourselves and care for others. At the same time, self-hate is equally unbiblical. The Bible nowhere instructs us to hate ourselves.
I too shall love myself as I do my neighbor. I will not have another enemy in my life. Everyone is my brother & sister. We all are gods children, and each and everyone of us our are made in his liking. In his image. In the image he created for us. We can’t break that image down, destroy that image he gave to us. I will not suffer another day at the hands of my own destruction. I’ll rise, and I will be the rising child of GOD. I will no longer destroy the beautiful he placed in my heart. I’m freeing myself. Getting rid of all these demons and casting them out.
Today! I shall move forward. And be blessed in me.
Today! I found peace.... Peace with me, and who I am as a person.
