1. 4 the 1st time in almost 12 yr's the DH will now be on a fixed Work Schedule at his so called "Full Time Job." He will now either be home or on the Road at his other "Part-Time Job." My schedule will be a changing in all things. Maybe a good thing?

2. I've been absent here on Sparks, and I apologize. While I Tracked as much as I could and tried to keep to my Schedules. I had a relative with both Stomach and possible Breast Cancer to coach and support. She doesn't live in State. So much of this was done on-line. Thankfully, the Mammogram gave the Dr reason to believe it isn't Cancerous. But I have grave doubts to the ability to simply look at a "regular" Mammogram and just "know" that it isn't Cancer. She hasn't any insurance, and it has progressed to a Soft Ball in size. Why this hasn't entailed a Biopsy is questionable. And the advise of "not to worry" unless it hurts? Bah! I have the ominous feeling of De Ja Vue that this is too similar in what my Mother had. And it finally after Dr's lagging in proper testing, in the complete removal of the breast and lymph nodes. Months later my Mother passed with complications with breathing. I'm trying not to let this be a sequel.

3. I'm aching and having my Thyroid Meds readjusted. Some Vitamin and Blood Counts are still too low. And the terrible fluctuations and weirdness in TN weather have got me in a havoc for pain. And now the right arm has decided to add another "hitch" to my misery. Now when trying to lift a simple glass to take a drink, the elbow and wrist don't want to bend! So, I foresee another Specialist in my future.

4. And as if all of these things haven't added a twist in the old "Yellow Brick Road", I've opted to Volunteer and Walk for the "Wishes on Wheels" charity. Which is to benefit "Make a Wish". In an effort to obtain more funding for donations. I've been elected to help organize a "Fun Walk" for this that will follow the Convoy. Lord, give me Strength and Wisdom on how to accomplish and succeed. I'll be looking for local Members to help or join in either donations or participation by enrolling in the Walk. I'll have further details as I make them. I'd also like to have the "Pet Adoptions of Rescues" in my Area to set up Booths and combine all good wishes. So, if your in the Memphis, TN and Olive Branch, MS areas? Its for the May 15th. Look me up and I'll get a Team started here for the Walk and can give information on Booths too. Donations would also be great. I'm looking for either monetary, auction-able, raffled, or walking participants and of course the Main Attractions: Antique and Hot Rod Autos and Big Rigs to sign up, we gotta have Wheels in the Wishes on Wheels!

Great blog. You are wonderful for being there for your relative. That kind of support is invaluable.

Wow, you are amazing. With everything going on, you still find time for all that charity work. Amazing, really! I hope all goes well with your relative, and she gets some solid answers soon. As for your arm and wrist, I sure hope you start to feel better with that soon. You've got enough on your plate!
Keep up the great work. It's people like you that give people like me a little more hope that this world isn't all bad. :)

    Hi Sweetie,

As I read your blog, I am so reminded of my world right now--there is some sunshine peeking through the clouds. I am so glad that your husband will have a regular schedule--that will give you one as well, give you a hint of consistency in your life, and also put you in a position to monitor his male stubbornness regularly. I'm sorry for your friend--I have three friends dealing with cancers of differing types and I am quite unnerved by it all. Their stories are different, but the outcome is frightening and for two of them, chemo, radiation and surgery are all part of their lives. The third is dealing with breast cancer and I don't know where surgery fits in. I am not sure how much to discuss or ask or whatever. I am most worried about the one who has esophogeal cancer that was detected because it "hurt her to swallow." Finally, congrats on the big fund raising task. That is not an area of my own personal expertise, but I am always in awe of someone who has the connections and can make that happen. I expect that you will do a great job and that everyone will be a winner because of your efforts.

It sounds like you are busy as usual. At least your hubby will have regular hours. I hope your relative is okay and you feel better as well. Good luck with all the charity work.
