Sorry I didn't get this posted sooner, but the past couple of days have been SUPER BUSY!!!
Anyway, I did have my 1st workout w/ my new personal trainer on Thursday morning... and I absolutely LOVED it! If you have the means and availability, I highly recommend it to anyone who has been considering one, or who is just interested. I always thought I got in a good workout on my own, but I must say, she really "pushed" me... and boy could I feel it, esp. the next day! (not pain... just muscle soreness)
She was very "aware" of my recent hip surgery and made sure that she didn't do any exercises that put stress on that joint or that caused me any discomfort in that area. But she definitely chose exercises (very simple ones actually) that worked every muscle in my body, and really put most of them to a pretty good test!
I can't wait to workout w/ her again... in fact, I'm planning to meet my son at the gym tomorrow and repeat her workout on my own!
