BLAH SWAN & Train My Brain (Plus, I must remember to be grateful just to wake up each day!)

Saturday, March 05, 2011

Black Swan was just too slow and too twisted for my old brain. Speaking of brains; CAN one literally change their brain structure with behavior modification? I know when you learn something new you forge new neuropathways and make new connections in your brain...but now I want to know how to manipulate the brain more! It worked for obsessive shopping it can work for diet/exercise, right?

I was wondering how the shopping thing was going for you! Glad to hear you changed that behavior. Food is harder, though, since we have to eat! It's easier when you keep the junk out of the house, but eating out can be a problem. I'm trying to keep my goal in front of me when I work out and don't want to work out. Telling myself that if I just do it, I can lose that little bit that will push me down into the 160's. That's my focus this week!, despite body aches and pains, just do something physical each day, being careful not to overdo, but not to do too little, either.
