My 20th wedding anniversary week has come to an end. I really can not believe that I have actually been married 20 years. It seems as if I just got married 5 years ago. Reggie & I have experienced so much over the past 20 years. Our 2 teenage sons are great. Thanks to Jehovah, WE have never had problems with "US." Of course, there have been financial issues and health issues, but WE, neither us nor the boys, have never had issues. That is truly a blessing.

Now to the trivial matter:

Of course, I was not at the weight I had hoped to be by now. However, I have achieved some success.

I am not heavier than my start date weight.
I have lost 10 pounds.

I am more aware of what I am eating.
I am drinking more water. emoticon

I am exercising more. I even miss exercise when I skip a day.

I am getting 7-8 hours of sleep at least 6 nights a week.
I am taking more "ME" time and not feeling guilty.

As I reflect on these past 20 years, I will continue to work toward my goal. I have renewed motivation. I have 3 weddings to go to before the end of August and a family reunion the 1st weekend in August. I am going to take it slow as SP suggests (1-2 pounds lost a week) even though I want IT gone YESTERDAY. It took 20 years to put in on; I just don't want it to take 20 years to take it off.
