Jonathan's lunch

Friday, March 04, 2011

Oh, I'm POOPED!!!! So I thought I'd blog for a minute and connect with my precious friends!

Had a VERY nice lunch today w/Jonathan for his 17th birthday. He is getting ready to leave for a 3-6 week excursion working at our friend's greenhouse where he'll continue with lessons and then afternoons will work for the business. He is ALSO thrilled that a very good friend of ours wanted to 'fund' the beginnings of his business. He got his laptop and is now in the process of building a website for his intarsia business. And today, before lunch, we dropped off his project for the art show.

I also made a slideshow of a few of his projects.

Also, here is a picture of us before our luncheon:
1st one: NO SMILE

2nd one: Mom is about to tickle him

Okay, I'm off to make pizzas and yogurt! HOPEFULLY I can get a little energy here! emoticon

Jonathan's work is fantastic, so much talent for his young age. Breanna loved the animal ones.

Jonathan's work is just beautiful...such talent. I like the short-haired pointer the best and of course, his latest. Hope you get all your "projects" done before you leave tomorrow. Karen

I'm eager to view his site and learn his prices and how long it takes to make one of the pieces. They could make creative gifts, couldn't they? -- Lou
