A new pair of goal pants.

Friday, March 04, 2011

So yesterday I was in Old Navy to get myself some new workout capris and sport bras. I like to look as nice as possible in the gym. I can't help myself from ferreting through the clearance rack in any store and I spotted a size 14 skinny black low waisted corduroys. No, I don't want to stay in a size 14 but at $7.97 I figured I'd try them on anyway. They were much too tight. I'm not in denial right now, I am wearing size 14 quite well so the only explanation is that these particular pants were not marked the proper size. That explains why they were the only one of that style on the clearance rack in the first place. They are too tight for a person who wears size 14 and anyone who wears a size 12 won't try them on. So I bought them. They are great pants and I'll probably be able to wear them out with a 5 pound loss. They will really look kick ass with a 10 pound loss. If I am going to wear them out before Memorial Day I am going to have to buckle down. Here's to wearing those skinny cords soon! emoticon

Who cares what size a pair of $7.97 pants are? What a bargain! But you're probably right as to why they were on the clearance rack!
