I'm sorry I've been MIA for the last month+
I've been SO focused on school, that my fitness and my weight loss (and unfortunately all of you) have moved to the back burner... okay, it wasn't on the back burner... it probably wasn't even on the stove - quite possibly not even in the kitchen :(
I'm ready to get back on track. I'm probably up close to 200 pounds again - I'll know for sure when I weigh in tomorrow morning - have to admit, I'm a little scared to see what # glows back up at me from the scale - but it's time to bite the bullet.
So - let me fill you in on what's been going on. It all VERY exciting!!!
I went back to school 5 weeks ago. I'm kicking butt! I'm acing 3 of my classes with a 4.0 - and the 4th, I just don't know because we haven't had a paper or test yet... I'm LOVING school, and so glad I went back!
At school, I joined my major's club (Exercise and Sports Science) and am trying to use it as a platform to get my campus more active. I'm planning an annual community wide 5K, the 1st will be on 5/1. In order to get more people to participate, I'm leading and training a campus wide Couch to 5K program. I've had such an amazing response!
MOST exciting is that I'm being sponsored by Odwalla( www.odwalla.com/index.js
)for the 2011 race season!
So, I'm back.
I want to lose these last 50 pounds this year.
