I took a Tae Kwon Do class on Monday night that was filled with only black belts. I just started, so being the only beginner in a class of such experienced folk was really intimidating to me. To add to the intimidation, prior to this class, another beginner had told me she had been in a similar situation and the black belts completely ignored her. And so class started...
Turns out it was a wonderful workout and a really great experience. The Black Belts were very kind and helpful to me and I can't wait to do it again! That was Monday.
I returned on Tuesday for another kick-b*tt class. And I got on the scale this morning to see it read .5 lbs. less than the day before. This kind of progress helps me keep going.
