30 Day Body Measurement Progress

Wednesday, March 02, 2011

So I started my journey about 45 days ago by starting to watch what I eat and the portions I was eating. I started off weighing about 280 pounds. After 15 days just by portion control I was able to bring my weight down to about 268.5 pounds. At that time I decided that I would take my body measurements before I started the P90X program.

Beginning -1/25/11 30 Day-2/26/11
------------------------ --------------------
Neck- 17" 16.5
Chest- 49.5" 48"
Waist- 47" 45"
Hips- 46" 45"
Thigh- L25" R25" L25.5" R25.5"
Calf- L18" R18.5" L18" R18"
Bicep- L14" R14" L14" R14"

Overall I am pretty proud of my results as I am doing the Lean version of P90x for losing weight and not the Classic which is for building muscle. My roommate has even said that she has started to notice some Ab definition starting to happen. I can't wait until another 30 days go by so I can compare what other changes have happened since my original measurements.

LOVE P90x, and wonderful that you are doing something to change your life and health, way to go. Funny name too..BTW!

I personally always do classic/doubles because I value weightlifting more than adds in that extra day of pull ups, so really consider that. More intense weightlifting means greater fat loss over the long term and that will be so useful as you get closer to goal.

    Way to go!!!

P90X is a great workout program and you will love your results. The abs were the area that I noticed the most results on personally but my husband just lost fat everywhere and really gained some great muscle tone doing the classic version.
Can't wait to see your progress!
