Life is good! We can always start over any day that we choose and today, March 1, 2011 I have decided to restart my goals and activities with SparkPeople. I was off to a great start in January, but didn't remain faithful. My faith in God is often like that too, but he refreshes us daily and allows to start again daily, if that is what we need, but at some point we need to stay the course.

I don't know if that is ever going to happen for me either in my spiritual life or my personal life, but all I can ever do is keep on trying!

Hi, and thank you for your comment. You are right, I didn't NOT DO IT! And I realize now that I just tried to take on too many goals at one time without fully understanding how to track everything (goals, fitness, weight, nutrition, etc.

There were so many times when I would just stare at the computer screen not knowing where to go next or how to find the answers I was searching. I don't have a full time job, but if I did, I don't even know how I would have made it this far, lol.

Don't get me wrong, I love the SparkPeople site, however for me, using all the tools and trackers held a bit of a learning curve for me. There is just so much here that it was a bit overwhelming, I guess. Right now, I am praising God for the simmer that has taken place over the last several weeks, because this time around I am NOT giving up. Hallelujah!

Welcome back! When I started SP I spent the first 6 weeks just puttering around making no MEASURABLE progress of any kind. Then, like you, I decided to do it, really go for it. I wish you the feeling of power that I experienced as I made slight changes, tracked my food (and boy there were surprises there), and tried to make my exercise actually happen.

Anyway, my thought is that you didn't "not do" SP for awhile. It was simmering and now you're ready. Make this time count!
