This morning started out great! The a.m. with the kids was smooth. My 9yr old and I jogged to the bus stop just because it was fun and then I jogged home again. (bonus exercise!)
Also I was excited to try a new to me exercise tape this morning: Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds - Power Mile (made in 2001). I think I found a new workout buddy to use along with Denise Austin and SparkPeople Nicole, both who motivate me and inspire me when I can't go outside and walk. Leslie's workout was easy enough to pick up the first time through (which is rare), AND it felt really good to my body. It was a 20 minute cardio exercise awesome for those busy days. I am also planning on walking to one of my appointments today which should give me another 20 minutes of exercise.
Now, here I was this morning, happily eating breakfast and feeling pumped up, when I smell something not good, something burning. Concerned, I walked around the house, checking the teenagers curling iron, (nope), the furnace, (nope), the dishwasher and stove area, (nope), and all the vents in the house, (nope). I narrowed it down to the living room where the smell was strongest and I realized our main desktop computer was not running.
I think a fan burned out. At least I hope it was a just a fan! Luckily I have this laptop so I can still SPARK, although it runs much slower than our desktop.
We don't realize how much we depend on technology until it breaks down!
Hey, I am a positive girl, I had a great morning! I will not stress about possible major computer problems or *gasp* info losses. Instead I will think about the fact that we back up our info a minimum of once a month, I am NOT in the middle of any projects right now, all my favorite pictures are also stored elsewhere, and I can still SPARK!!!
Instead of being stressed: Hooray! I will celebrate my great morning!
