Today for the first time in many years, I was able to take off my engagement ring. My wedding ring not but now my fingers are losing some bulk so I can remove one ring. Even my granddaughter asked me at Christmas if my finger hurt because the rings had cut in so far into my flesh. My knuckles are arthritic so they are enlarging but there was also a lot of fat on my fingers so they looked pudgy awful. I look forward to the time when I will be able to put the ring back on to nice slim fingers in the future.
