Probably Sleeping with Ruby Slippers ON!

Monday, February 28, 2011

This is just getting plain scary, crazy- tonight around 11 PM the Red Bone started acting wilder and wilder. Running in and out side until I finally went to the patio to look. Most of the coming Tornadoes have been set to move in between very early AM and mid-day Monday. Well while standing there on the Patio I realize the Wind Chimes that I have mounted onto a Shepherds Hook for pots- its rattling round like crazy! Not that much wind going on. And the Hound is stiff as a board on top of our back yard hill with his nose to the wind, baying for all he's worth. Bandit the younger Basset Hound is now running in circles in the living room and trying to chew his hind feet. What the heck? Old Blue Basset is running in circles on his bed looking around like "What?" I was flummoxed as to what was wrong other than a possible Storm moving in quicker than expected? Well, this uncharacteristic antics went on, off, on- for about an hour. Finally only me and ER are still awake. I check into here and my FB and WOW! there's been a 4.7 Earthquake hit AR that was felt in some 3 States, probably why all the Hounds were acting weird? And now storms are getting closer and I can't decide whether to give in and try to sleep with everything on? Or wait it out until the DH has to be up and ready for work in about 3 hours. Just sharing,...and hoping that all my Spark Friends are safe.

I have a late evening Dr. appointment. Another thats been rescheduled numerous times due to weather and hopeful that weather clears before I have to go to it.

Our chinchillas always act crazy when we have earthquakes.

Good luck with the rescheduled appointment. Tornado season doesn't hit here for a bit yet--we still have some serious winter to go first. Then we have spring tornado season to look forward to. I love seasons, but prefer spring, summer and fall over tornado seasons and winter yuck. Oh my.

Take care of yourself--I hope that things get settled down for you, my friend!!
Gentle hugs,
Sylvia
