Well my knee seems to be doing better now and I have been able to do more things without too much assistance. We even went to the pool and figured out a way to do it all without the hassle of getting dressed at the rec center. We just go in our suits and terry robes and dry off the best that we can and return home the same way. Then take our showers at home and don't have too worry about a dressing room being available. It is really nice to be in the comfort of your own home as well. Now all I need is an indoor swimming pool in my back yard. ha!
I'm going to work towards my mini goal of getting to the pool once a week on Thursdays and doing the treadmill two other days of the week. And see how that goes for now if they knee can take it then we aim for two days a week. The only hard part will be is that my 9 year old son is year around school and he is off track a lot it seems. And the pool doesn't open for kids til like 11:00am and that is not a good time to go if you want to just swim laps or do pool therapy. I like the very early lap swim schedule.
I'm happy with where I'm at right now considering how bad the fall was and the pain that I was in 2 weeks ago. It will all work out and things will continue to improve.
