Tonight I'm going to see the 80's band Missing Persons with H. She is the Queen of Free Tickets. So far, it's been the circus, 2 concerts, a motocross, and 3 movies. I should take her to Vegas while she's on this streak. I'll be listening to their greatest hits all day to get me jazzed up for the show, since i only know 3 of their songs off the top of my head. Luckily it's at a venue where the crowd will be standing, so I'll get to dance a little.
Last night's outing was good. Got 156 minutes of dancing in. After the 3+ hours of walking I'd done earlier that day, my body was working overtime. The endorphin just pushed me forward, and it wasn't until I got home that the muscle cramps came on with a vengeance. Oh, why did I walk for 3+ hours yesterday? Well, I walked 5.6 miles (1hr36mins) to my friends house for our weekly game night, only to find that half of our group was sick and canceled the evening, so instead of having a ride home, I had to walk back. it only took me 2 extra minutes to get back, even though I was exhausted.
Before going dancing, the Joe & Joe wanted to get Chinese for dinner, so I was happy to make some healthy choices that didn't weigh me down later. I had the Lettuce Wraps appetizer as my main dish. I had them make it without sauce, so it was just chicken, diced vegetables and spices that I wrapped in lettuce. The three of us split some Wor Wonton soup, and I gave the fellas my wontons. None of us ate the crispy fried wontons they brought to the table. My New Year's resolution to eat no grains or fried foods is still going strong.
