I LOST 1.2 POUNDS MY FIRST WEEK!!

The scales showed a 1.2 drop in my weight. I am so excited to see my ticker move down. I need to lose 1.4 pounds to make my 5% challenge goal for the week, but I will take this. At least I now know I can lose weight, even when I don't think I did very good. I can't wait to see how I do when I master the new healthy changes I am learning.
I didn't get the treadmill today. I did get a raincheck and did a whole lot of walking.
I did good drinking water today, but had more than 2 cans of Pepsi. Now I know I need to preplan where we are going to eat when Mom and I go shopping. Mom is losing weight without trying, so it is good to see her eat. In a way I wish I had her problem. She has always been tiny and can eat all day. This makes the second time she has been told not to lose anymore and to try to put a little on. It could be that she loves healthy foods, I have seen her eat veggies all day, even a whole bag of radishes in a day.
So I got my exercise in for today. I counted 90 minutes of walking even though we walked about 4 hours. I completed my strength training as soon as I got home.
Now about the sodium. I learned alot today about eating out. So what if you didn't have breakfast. If you eat out twice and don't watch what you eat, the calories really accumulate. I consumed over 2150 calories and only ate twice today. My sodium was 4302.
We had lunch at Pizza Hut and dinner at Sam's Hotdog.
I will have to really work to make up for today. I guess live and learn applies here.
