So today I signed up for Zumba at noon. I went to the gym, warmed up a bit, then it was zumba time! I had so much fun. I know I'm not too good at it yet but there's always someone new in the class who doesn't really know the moves either and somehow that makes me feel a little bit better. I know I don't look all that great yet. I can't wait until I lose more inches around my thighs! I hate em! lol But they were even worse before I know! So I'm quite satisfied with how far I've come. I do feel good about myself.
I went shopping after working out. I took my daughter with me. We went to have some lunch and ice cream for her. She's been home all week long because of her chickenpox. She was finally able to go out today. I went shopping for workout pants and also some pants to just wear around the house. I love being comfy inside my house and the black pants I bought last October are way too big on me now and well, not that comfy anymore :-) So I was trying on some pants and I tried on a medium and it felt great! So perfect! I had to double check, no, TRIPLE check the tag. YEP! It was a medium! I was like
I still feel quite large! I know I'm still considered "fat" but I love how I feel about myself now than before. It's quite different. My body is slowly changing and I'm loving all these changes.
Oh and I also had to buy some undies today. I have NO idea what size I am anymore so I just have to buy until they feel comfy. LOL
Then I'll know after right? haha! I need to buy a sports bra now for when I workout. And some proper socks. You know, the short ankle ones. I have not been able to find any yet. I might need to visit some other sports shops. It's so funny to think the sports store is more interesting now than before. :-)
Well, off to make dinner! I'm not too hungry surprisingly enough. I had a salad at the mall for my lunch. A late lunch. But I was hungry and needed something. It was a ham and cheese salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, paprika) with a boiled egg and 3 small (like real thin) slices of bread with pesto. I had 1.5 and my daughter had the rest. I also shared my salad with her. :-) No dressing or salt. I figured the bread with pesto and ham and cheese was salty enough to go with the rest of the salad.
For my breakfast ( a late breakfast ) I made an omelet. Well, it was basically just eggs and left over salmon from last night. A little bit of salt but not much. It was pretty tasty! I also had an apple. For dinner I'm making tacos. I usually have mine with a salad though and one taco shell is usually enough for me now :-) I also had to buy some sardines (in olive oil) and had some with some crisp bread. Mmm. A very yummy snack. My daughter didn't like the sardines though. Too bad :-) More for me!
