Was so sad to see the devastation on the news, I believe it still continues. Christchurch was such a lovely city and it's hard to believe the Cathedral has been so badly damaged. Also the hotel we stayed in when we arrived is mortally wounded. My good wishes go out to you all and I know you will all bounce back eventually, it will seem like an impossible task but I'm sure you will all manage it somehow.
Very very sad footage. We are thinking of you here in Australia. Our friend had her 40th Birthday party last night and asked that instead of gifts we contribute to the Earthquake fund on the Red Cross website. It felt good to spend our money donating rather than on buying just another material thing. We hope and pray that the money will help to ease the suffering of the people affected in Christchurch, Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Gina
