And behind the Curtain?

Thursday, February 24, 2011

Yes, the Wizard had more along the lines of my health issues. It seems that if the Parathyroid isn't working properly or dead, as mine may be? It will not matter how much Calcium you or I take! It simply will not be processed by the body properly and Osteoporosis and all its evils will be inevitable. NOT a pleasant thought and a symptom that I intend to have researched IF I make it to my Endocrinologist today. Tornado Season is upon TN and today is carrying a High Risk factor as the day moves into night. Right now we are currently under a Flash Flood watch. The plan to travel 60 miles in this is NOT looking good.

An additional note regarding other Supplements to Combat FATIGUE to research: Dr Oz attest to having found a new super supplement-
TYROSINE. I have never heard of it prior to the show. It is recommended to fight Fatigue, taken 3 times daily. OPENED capsule, sprinkled onto the tongue and wash down immediately with 8 oz. of Water. Personally, I'd prefer to mix it into the water and drink it. But as prescribed is how Dr OZ recommends it.
WHEATGRASS, doesn't matter whether in its fresh form or by capsule.
MAGNESIUM, this one I love any way. It aids greatly with Digestion! So off for now to try to prepare and travel to the multi-delayed and and missed Dr. Appointment. Be well my Friends and Wish me Safe Travels and the DH too, he is on the road again too today.

Oz is going to have everyone rattling soon with so many supplements. I'm not a fan. I had a severe reaction to supplements and don't take them any more.

Hope you made it to the doc! Will have to look into the supplements for fatigue - but I suspect that mine is an issue of a snoring husband and restless elderly dog interrupting my sleep!

Be careful out there and have a safe trip. I hope that you get some good news from the doctor.
