Day 2--5% challenge

Started out the day with french toast with the kids. Kept to only3 slices, not so bad. forgot to have lunch, just had a few saltines. Then had ravioli for dinner. Unfortunately the cherry twizzlers called me and I ate some of them, not all though.

Did my kettlebell workout this morning. I can't believe it actually burns 1200 calories for an hour. Either I eat way too much and don't write it down or it doesn't really burn that much. Doesn't matter I guess I enjoy the workout and I feel better when I do it so that's good enough.
I try to do this workout at least 2 days each week then do others on days I don't have 55 minutes to do it.

Tomorrow I have another girl with some kinda of sickness, ear ache, sore throat, and stuffy nose so off to the doctor again. The school by us is hit so bad they closed school for tomorrow. Even the teachers are sick. Can't imagine that 1 day is going to make much difference but we will see. Don't think my 5 year old will be back to school even on Tues, she can't stop coughing, can't send her like that. Oh well we will see about that too.

    Hope your daughter feels better soon. I'm going to look into the kettlebell workout workout. I've never heard of anyone doing it.

    Sorry to hear that your daughter is sick... hope she's better soon! These "bugs" that are going around this year are some nasty ones!

I love my kettlebells... they really are a fantastic workout!!!

    Both my brothers kids have nasty colds and the doctor told my sister in law that she had the beginning of pnemonia. We are sending my mom to the doctor monday . Don't want to play with this cold that is going around this year.

    Good for you managing to get in a 60 minute workout with sick little ones at home. Try not to get too caught up in the number of calories you've burned during a workout. Remember they can vary wildly for a number of reasons. Just count on the cumulative effect of working out on a steady basis.

    Congratulations on getting in that exercise!

I hope your little one feels better and you will not become a "regular" at the Dr's office!
