In the name of getting myself back on track, my new (sweet) husband and I have agreed on some external motivators. :)
1. Henceforth, I will buy one beautiful dress for our anniversary, each year. This will be a good motivator for me, and will also build up my collection of symphony-worthy dresses! (This one was my idea!)
2. For each 5 pounds lost, I will buy a pair of jeans / shirt / etc. as a celebration. (This one is my husband's idea. He commented once that he wished my wardrobe had something in between work-wear and pajamas. :)
3. In order to help me regain consistency in logging on to Sparkpeople, my friend M. has made me a star-chart that I can use to keep myself on track. I'll post it next to the computer!
I'll keep you posted as to how it all works out! I think for our first anniversary, I'd like to have a blue dress!!! :)
