Today I officially joined a new team. I'm very excited about it. I'm hoping to get added to the CATS team. The team I joined is called 2011 Winter-1 5% Challenge, and from there we get assigned to an "individual" team.
I just know that if I get accepted into CATS, I will get my mojo back, because my buddy GetFit2Live is on that one. She and I communicate nearly every day, encouraging one another.
For those of you who don't know me, I have another name. That is Krackers.
I make quilts for kids 8-18 who are battling cancer, and they are called Ally Cat ?Quilts by Krackers. I send them all over the world. I just need to rely on others to "find" the kids for me, and get their names and mailing addresses so I can make them a quilt.
If you go to my photo page you will see some of them.
This all started when our granddaughter, Ally, was diagnosed with leukemia. She always got so very cold from chemo, and asked me to make quilts for her and the other older kids. My grandkids started calling me Krackers, so............of course I HAD to use Ally's name, and then combined with Krackers.....you get the idea.
Today I am making a big wall quilt using one of my personal photos as an inspiration. Here is the photo I am using:
I snapped this photo on one of our hikes to Sol Duc Falls. Pretty, isn't it! I hope the quilt comes out almost as pretty.
